Day 3

Big Problems ? Bigger God

This drawing comes courtesy  from one of my friends and sister in Christ , who I am sure you can tell is artistically blessed and gifted. When I first saw this picture the song from my early childhood came to mind “hes got the whole world in his hands”, in reality even though its a childrens bible song , it is an amazing message of hope.
Take one look at the news and all we see is death and destruction but in God our father , creator , best friend and defender we can find a place of rest from the raging seas, from the pain and sadness of the world.
In the bible the phrase “do not worry” or “do not fear” appears 366 times , whenever it appears its not a comfort its a command from God , we should have faith in the God that made us that he will do only the best for the children he loves.
We find Jesus telling us this in  Matthew 6 verse 25-28 that :
”  Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? ”
If you know and love God then take a minute and step back from the edge of the abyss that this world sits on, and rest in the hands of your Father.

And if you dont know God , then why spend another minute in this world of pain , hurt , misery and death. The God that made you is waiting for you with open arms.

Dont tell God how big your storm is , tell your storm how big your God is”
